European Monitoring Report & 3D4DEAF Dual Training Pack: Introducing 3D Technologies in Teaching and Learning for a Sustainable Future.
A1: 3D4DEAF COMPARATIVE INDEX & PRACTICAL GUIDEBOOK
National Report
Partners reviewed statistics, reports, national policies, laws and regulations about education of deaf students, described the situation of deaf people in the labour market and state of art in the field of digitalization in education in each partner country to present the needs and gaps in VET education at a transnational level.
Innovative group activity
To gather the opinions of VET trainers, VET students and entrepreneurs and find gaps and perceptions about the labour market and VET education in each country, Partners hold an Innovative group activity with each target group. 5 VET Trainers, 5 VET students and 5 Entrepreneurs participated in each innovation forum.
Infographics
Findings from desk research and focus groups were presented in a visual way with the use of national infographics.
5 infographics -1 per country resumed the main findings and results of the desk research and national focus groups
Practical Guidebook
The consortium produced 1 guidebook targeting the main project targets -Entrepreneurs, VET trainers, students- with the aim of practically support the effective transitioning of people with hearing impairments in the labour: The Guidebook covers the topic of social entrepreneurship and 3D printing by giving more than 20 practical tips for each group.
E-mentoring materials
Those materials have the goal of fostering essential skills for people with fewer opportunities to smooth their entrance into the labour force, open their horizons, and provide essential training material for VET educators. Practical guidelines and videos are included.
Study Visit
Each partner country hosted study visits involving VET centres which employ 3D education programs for students with hearing impairments/deafness, social enterprises and businesses that employ persons with deafness or hearing impairments and businesses in Industry 4.0 employing persons with hearing impairments.
Comparative INDEX
The comparative Index collected information on the national status quo of deaf impaired people entering the job market, the different frameworks, job opportunities for individuals with deafness in industry 4.0, 3D technologies, social entrepreneurship, labor access restrictions, and VET education programs in each partners’ countries.
A2: DUAL COMPETENCE FRAMEWORK
The consortium builded a full course covering 3D printing, design, and coding, as well as business planning, budgeting, and entrepreneurship competence separetad into three levels:
1-Starters, Level 2: Movers, and Level 3: Experts.
A3: DUAL EDUCATIONAL PACK
Based on the Competence Framework, the Dual Educational Pack is based on the design of the Open Ecosystem Badges. It features multimedia materials, PowerPoint presentations, videos focused on social and environmental situations, lesson plans, cartoon-based instructional films created using PowToon for each module and topic, and two teacher guide manuals.
E-Learning Materials
The materials dedicated to VET educators include training material on 3D and social entrepreneurship:
A total of 2 modules divided in 7 modules (2 and 5 modules respectively)
Guidebook for Educators
Two Guidebooks have been prepared by the partners, 1 per Module: these are comprehensive guides crafted to equip teachers of deaf individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to foster creativity, innovation, and economic empowerment among their students.
Cartoon-based Learning Videos
The partners create Powtoon for cartoon-based learning videos to interactively support the training content acquisition for each module and topic.
Methodology for implementing the 3D4DEAF programme
The Methodology for implementing the 3D4DEAF programme is a complete document wrapping up and listing in details all the products and tools built within the WP2 and guiding VET teachers and school towards their implementation.
